Buffalo Creek Golf Club

Course description:
The course was built in 1992. This championship course is quite challenging. The terrain is rolling and water hazards come into play on eleven holes. "Golf Digest" rated this as the only four star course or resort open to the public in North Texas. "Golf Week" rated it as one of the top fifteen courses in Texas for 1993. Tom Weiskopf & Jay Morrish designed the course. Buffalo Creek Golf Club has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 41-50 sandbunkers.

Hogansville Golf Club

Mill Creek Park Golf Course

Course description:
The course opened in 1930. This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. Both courses are tree lined and have small greens that are well protected by sand bunkers. The North Course has undulating greens, and the South Course is tighter and has flatter greens. There are creeks that come into play on five or six holes. The ladies' par for the North Course is actually 74; the ladies' par for the South Course is actually 75. Donald Ross designed the course. Mill Creek Park Golf Course has 36 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 61-70 sandbunkers.

Willow Bend Country Club

Course description:
The course opened in 1929. This traditional-style course has small greens, tight fairways and many mature trees that can alter your shots. The terrain is predominantly flat, but there is some mounding that can cause an uneven lie or two. Gaylord Leslie designed the course. The course includes waterhazards. And has 11-20 sandbunkers.

Lexington Country Club

How is the course?:
The course opened in 1908. This narrow and tree lined course was built on rolling terrain. Tee times are determined by a lottery system on Saturdays and Sundays. Pete Dye redesigned some holes on this course in 1975. Tom Bendelow designed the course. The course has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 31-40 sandbunkers.

Houston Lake Country Club

What is the course like?:
The course was built in 1963. This course, built on hilly terrain, features water hazards coming into play on thirteen holes. The signature hole is #18, a 405-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee over water, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green. The "Atlanta Constitution" rated this course among the "Top 50" courses for the State of Georgia in 1991, and the "Georgia Golf News" rated this as the 4th best "semi-private facility" for 1993. O. There are numerous old trees on the courses that can affect your shots. Weekend tee times are reserved the Monday prior. Jack Fleming designed the course. This course has 36 holes.
