What is the course like?:
The course was built in 1996. This Scottish-style links course is situated on 240 acres. Its fairways are feathered and its greens are in excellent shape. There are many sandy waste areas throughout the course, some of which measure three to five acres in size. It's a hilly course, so walking is not recommended, but is allowed. There are also ten acres set aside solely for practicing, driving, and teaching. The course welcomes all skilled golfers to challenge its design. Arthur Hills designed the course. The course has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 41-50 sandbunkers.

Lynx of Allegan, The

How is the course?:
The course was built in 1998. This eighteen hole golf course is unique in topography for southern Michigan because of its rolling, hilly terrain. This is a very user-friendly course that meets the competitive desires of the novice to advanced amateur. The greens are impeccably maintained and offer a great variety in size and design. The course was built over an area that was once a Christmas tree lot. There are a great deal of small spruce trees left over to line the fairways. Every hole has some type of tree population. The signature hole is #10, a 411-yard, par 4, which is elevated at least eighty-five feet above the landing area. The fairway winds to a green that is tree lined and well-bunkered. There is another ladies' tee not shown measuring 4,429 yards with a course rating of 66.1 and a slope of 113. Charlie Scott designed the course. The course includes waterhazards. And has 11-20 sandbunkers.

Cheshire Hills Golf Course

How is the course?:
The course was built in 1972. This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Red Fox Course is the most difficult because of its narrow, tree-lined fairways. There are a variety of green sizes on all three courses. The terrain is rolling, and ponds come into play on the White Tail and Blue Bird courses. Herb Johnson designed the course. Cheshire Hills Golf Course has 54 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 41-50 sandbunkers.

Course description:
The course opened in 1920. This course has rolling fairways built over ravines. It is a nice, challenging course. Shirts must be worn on holes #1, #9, #10 and #18. Tom Bendelow designed the course. The course has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 31-40 sandbunkers.

Winding Creek Golf Course

How is the course?:
The course was built in 1993. This club has three nine hole courses that are played as one nine hole course and one eighteen hole course. The courses have a creek running throughout them that comes into play on eighteen of the twenty-seven holes. There are junior (eighteen and under) rates available before 3 PM Monday through Friday. The course includes waterhazards. And has 1-10 sandbunkers.

The course opened in 1916. This outstanding and beautiful course is located alongside Lake Michigan. Locals claim this to be the tenth oldest course in Michigan. The greens are very small and most of the fairways are narrow. George Ferry designed the course. The course has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards.

Glenn Shores Golf Course

How is the course?:
The course opened in 1926. This course offers a variety of playing conditions. The terrain is somewhat rolling, and the tree-lined fairways offer generous landing areas. Water only comes into play on hole #4, a 102-yard, par 3, but there are a couple of ditches that play as hazards. The small greens are difficult to hit and slightly sloped. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on five of the nine holes. A practice fairway is available, but you must shag your own balls. The course has 9 holes. The course includes waterhazards. And has 1-10 sandbunkers.

The course opened in 1960. This club has both an eighteen hole regulation course and a nine hole regulation course. These beautiful courses were built on hilly terrain, so you can expect uneven lies in the fairways. The greens putt true and fast, and the fairways are tree lined and loaded with sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on a few holes on the Eighteen Hole Course. Arthur Young designed the course. Orchard Hills Golf Club has 18 holes. The course includes waterhazards.
