Sea Oaks Golf Club

Course description:
The course opened in 2000. This 18-hole championship course was designed by Ray Hearn, and opened for play in 2000. Sea Oaks takes full advantage of the terrain of southern New Jersey, and this links-style course blends well with the surrounding Pine Barrens. Playing from 5,150 to 6,950-yards, this par 72 course offers five sets of tees to accommodate a variety of handicaps. The rolling fairways are lined with Pines and several oaks. Hazards take the form of several lakes, and strategically placed bunkers and natural waste areas. Rockleigh Golf Course

What is the course like?:
The course opened in 1959. This club has twenty-seven holes that are played in two separate course arrangements. The Red/White Course is an eighteen hole layout and the nine hole Blue Course is usually played twice for an eighteen hole round. The Red/White combination has numerous trees and sand bunkers that come into play. The Blue Course is known for its fast greens and narrow fairways. Water hazards come into play consistently during a round. Alfred H. Tull designed the course. The course includes waterhazards. And has 21-30 sandbunkers.

RiverWinds Golf Club

How is the course?:
RiverWinds Golf Club is an eighteen hole daily fee facility located in southwest New Jersey, a short drive from Philadelphia. This championship links style course was designed by architect Pete Fazio and opened for play June, 2002. The fairways are generally open and rolling. The undulating greens average 6-7,000 square feet and are moderate in speed. Water comes into play on at least 12 holes, and there are plenty of bunkers strategically placed throughout the design. RiverWinds plays from 5,315 to 7,086-yards and there are four sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. The course opened in 1960. This well-maintained course has fairways that vary from narrow to wide, and its greens are very small in size and fast. There is very little water that comes into play, but there are several sand bunkers. The lowest round ever was a 66 posted by the legendary "Golden Bear," Jack Nicklaus. The fairways are open, and the undulating greens are fast. The signature hole is #8, a 143-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot past woods and over water. This club was originally founded in 1892 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America."
