Bellevue Golf Club

What is the course like?:
The course was built in 1899. This old, traditional course has tight fairways lined with mature trees. The greens are small and undulating, and water hazards come into play on four holes.

Thomson Country Club

Course description:
The course opened in 1963. This tight course has fourteen holes with out-of-bounds stakes lining the fairways. The greens are large with plenty of undulation, and there are water hazards that come into play on six holes. Additionally, there are several hidden trouble spots on the course. Nashawtuc Country Club

How is the course?:
The course opened in 1961. This course's large greens are fast, and its wide fairways are in great shape. Water hazards (ponds and streams) come into play several times. The signature hole is #8, a 203-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to an elevated green surrounded by three sand bunkers. The club hosted the Senior PGA Tour's Bank of Boston Senior Classic in 1994 and 1995. Complimentary pull carts are only available for ladies. Geoffrey Cornish designed the course. The course includes waterhazards. And has 31-40 sandbunkers.

Sassamon Trace

How is the course?:
Sassamon Trace is a 9-hole track that opened for play September 2001. Located a short drive west of Boston on the former Natick landfill, this executive course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish/Brian Silva/Mark Mungeam and features a mix of traditional and links-styled holes. As such, some of the gently rolling fairways are open and some are tree-lined. The large greens are nicely undulated and fast. Sassamon Trace plays from 2,400 to 1,750-yards and there are four sets of tees to challenge a variety of skill levels. Framingham Country Club

How is the course?:
The course was built in 1902. This is a beautiful course. The front nine has tight, tree-lined fairways on hilly terrain, and the back nine has open fairways and more hills than the front. There is a stream that flows throughout the course that comes into play on seven holes. William F. Mitchell designed the back nine, which opened in 1960. The 2,994-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 34.3 and slope of 116. The 2,633-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 71.2 and slope of 124.
